Long service awards your people will actually remember
Swap the plaque and the voucher for an experience each employee chooses. Mojo tracks every milestone and a human concierge arranges the reward, in any country you employ people.
Most long service awards are forgotten within a week
Ten years of work, and the thank-you is a catalogue item or a voucher that gets spent on groceries. The gesture is meant to say "we noticed". Too often it says "we have a process".
Every generic long service award makes the same mistake: someone other than the employee decides what the employee gets. A catalogue assumes they want an object. A voucher assumes the shop exists in their country. A plaque assumes they want a plaque. And in a company with offices in several countries, each office ends up with its own supplier, its own budget and its own idea of what ten years is worth.
Two-thirds of UK employers already run a long service award scheme, according to Employee Benefits, and the trend is away from traditional awards towards experiences and days out. The scheme itself is not the problem. The reward is.
Mojo Gift removes the guess. The employee tells us what would mean something to them, our concierge arranges it, and you see it happen. One scheme, every country, the same standard of reward for everyone.
How a Mojo long service award scheme works
Three steps, any country. Set up once, and every work anniversary is handled from then on.
Set your milestones and reward values
Decide which years of service you recognise, for example 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25, and the reward value for each tier. We help you set the tiers on the call, with a method you can explain to Finance.
We track the dates. Nobody misses an anniversary.
One data import during your onboarding call, or a connection to your HRIS, and Mojo knows every service anniversary. The manager gets an alert before the date, and the employee receives a personalised, scheduled message when it arrives.
They choose. Our concierge delivers.
The employee redeems on your branded site and tells us what would mean something to them: a trip, a dinner, a retreat, an event, or something personal. A human concierge books it and looks after the details. You see what was awarded and enjoyed in the Culture Dashboard.
Why experiences beat plaques, vouchers and catalogues
A long service award is a message about the person. The reward should fit the person.
They choose, so it always fits
No catalogue to maintain, no inventory to order, no guessing what a 15-year engineer in Dublin wants. The employee chooses from the world as it exists where they live, and the concierge makes it happen.
One scheme for every office
The same milestones and the same quality of reward in every country you employ people, on one invoice. No more patchwork of local suppliers and local budgets.
Nothing is wasted
Rewards never expire, reissues are free, and the price is never shown to the recipient. An award that sits unused for a year is still there when the moment is right.
Proof for HR and Finance
Redemption reporting and the Culture Dashboard show who was recognised, what they chose and when it was enjoyed. Tax documentation is provided across 190+ countries.
What makes Mojo different from long service award providers
Built around the person receiving the award, not around a catalogue.
The employee decides everything
A human concierge, not a portal
Any product, delivered to their door
No expiry. Ever.
Every anniversary tracked

Long service awards, answered
What is a long service award?
A reward given to an employee for reaching a length-of-service milestone, usually every five years. They are also called years of service awards, service anniversary awards or employee service awards. In the UK most schemes recognise 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years.
Which milestones should a long service award scheme recognise?
Most employers recognise 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years. Many now add 1 and 3 years so recognition starts earlier, when the risk of losing someone is highest. Mojo tracks whichever milestones you choose and alerts the manager before each one.
How much should a long service award be worth?
Most schemes scale the value with the milestone, so a 20-year award is worth more than a 5-year award. The right tiers depend on your headcount, countries and budget, and we set them with you on the call using a method you can explain to Finance. The reward is funded at face value, with no per-card fee, and the recipient never sees the amount.
Does it work for employees outside the UK?
Yes. One scheme covers every country you employ people in, with the same standard of reward everywhere. Tax documentation is provided across 190+ countries and nothing needs a postal address.
What if an employee does not want an experience?
Then they choose a product instead. A Mojo reward can be an experience, a trip, a dinner, or a specific product delivered to their door. The point is that the employee decides, not a catalogue.
What is the minimum commitment?
The programme is priced per Moment, per year, with a minimum of 50 Moments a year. A Moment is one recognition occasion for one employee, such as a 10-year anniversary. See the pricing page for the full detail.
