What syncs, and what never does
The Engine needs surprisingly little: name, team, start date, birthday if you recognise them, and any custom occasion dates. Joiners, leavers, promotions: handled automatically
New joiners are added with their onboarding milestones already queued. Promotions update the record and can trigger their own recognition moment. Leavers are removed automatically — their upcoming milestones come out of the queue, undelivered cards pause for review, and you are never charged for gifts to people who have left.
